A business letter from your host in China is required. The letter must be stamped and signed by the host. There are two (2) acceptable Invitation Letter types:
A computer-generated flight confirmation from your Airline/Travel Agency. The confirmation must include the following:
Tourist and business visas normally allow you to stay for a maximum of 60 days per entry. If you intend to stay longer than 60 days, please send a letter addressed to the Chinese Consulate briefly explaining the nature of your visit and duration of stay you require.
Note that there is NO GUARANTEE your request will be honored by the Chinese Consulate. Please plan accordingly.
